Our philosophy

We use spelt only from the Carpathian Basin, where this crop cereal has been grown since the Bronze Age. The spelt used in our products is cultivated in supervised organic farms and is strictly non-GMO.

Pilis1_small Our farm and bakery is situated in the woodlands of the Pilis mountain, not far from Budapest, the capital of Hungary, but far enough for the peace of mind of the people who live here. Interestingly enough, the Pilis area is known as a center of the Earth’s various energy lines, and is thought to be a positively "charged" location with strong geothermic energies. Whether you believe in such things or not, one thing is for sure: our spelt fields are a magical source of life.

dough Just as exciting is the fact that our artisan baker built the mill and the bakery in a way which follows an ancient Roman plan from two thousand years ago.
The mill is situated right beside the bakery and is connected to it through a closed pipe system, so the spelt flour is fully protected during the processing. Our products are literally fresh from the mill, because all are baked within an hour from the grinding of the grains.

All our products are handmade and the exceptional quality is ensured through organic certification.

The bakery won numerous awards with different products. Just a few examples:

2008 Organic Culture Day, The organic product of the year 2008 - audience award

2005 International Bread Competition - 2nd place
